LA Hiking Trails


An ongoing project consisting of the compilation of all hiking trails in LA. I explored various hiking trails in and around Los Angeles, a few of which were combined into zines. This gave birth to a collection of mini zines that are riso-printed to provide information about the trails. Now, the collection consists of 3 zines, more soon to come.
Software Used—Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Risograph Printing

Introduction:


As a part of the Directed Studies course, I explored various hiking trails in and around Los Angeles. A few of these were combined into zines and these gave birth to a collection of mini zines that are riso printed to provide information about the trails. I also got a good response when I sold these zines at the Otis MFAGD Art Book Fair’2022.

Till now, I have completed zines for 3 trails, and will be designing more in the coming weeks. This project will be a life-long project that will consist of various trails, not limited to LA, but also including other trails from around the world.
